On Friday 23 May, we are hosting an experimental-electronic music evening with performances by TRUSTYOURT, Ctrl Freq, Kryptogen Rundfunk, and the GROND members Mazen Al Ashkar and Fani Konstantinidou. The five artists bring their live-electronics solo sets.  Among others, expect performances with modular synthesisers, DIY musical instruments, and light sensors.

About the Artists

TRUSTYOURT  (Kristina Vodorezova) is a modular enthusiast and a minimalist at heart, trustyourt navigates listeners through intricate sonic realms where chance and intention dance as one. Embracing the beauty of chaos and the spontaneity of improvisation, she weaves delicate drone compositions that invite deep, collective listening. Her performances shift between the intimacy of a single wearable DIY instrument and the expansive presence of a sprawling modular suitcase. With a love for blending the raw resonance of acoustic instruments – like zither and kalimba – with the unpredictable pulse of modular synthesis, trustyourt blurs the boundaries between the organic and the electric, offering meditative portals into unknown soundscapes.

Kryptogen Rundfunk is an experimental sound project started in 2002 in St. Petersburg, Russia and
currently based in Amstelveen, The Netherlands. The project works with analogue electronics, radio
waves, electromagnetic interference and found sounds, creating sophisticated aural images, often
exploring extreme areas of the sonic spectrum. The purpose of these experiments is to temporarily
switch off listeners’ rational perception and immerse them into the direct experience of abstract sound.
During the 20 years of its activity, the project has recorded several studio albums released by European
and Russian labels, and performed numerous live gigs, both solo and in collaboration with many local and
international artists. Among the most well-known names to share the stage with were Einstürzende
Neubauten, Ben Frost, Bad Sector, Jacob Kirkegaard, Aube, Clock DVA, and Brighter Death Now.
Artem Ostapchuk, the man behind this project, is also the founder of the Zhelezobeton record label, which
became one of the biggest distributors of experimental music in Russia, but was closed in 2022 because
of relocation to The Netherlands. At present time, Artem operates Base Station label
and Fonodroom distribution.
