Rooted in five continents, the musical alchemists of Amsterdam based band Lokhipster come from all corners of the music world. An adventurer who picks up sounds like pearls from the street and who turns the world as we know it upside down. A spoken word performer who tells emotions with a special sound of her own – between speaking, chant singing and sound language. A virtuoso pianist who, with his compositions between jazz, rock and pop, throws striking musical punches into the spotlight. A horn player who masters the entire palette of reeds – from saxophone to bass clarinet – and blows his sound into the world full of light-footed lyricism and soul.
