DESCRIPTION:Save the Date for the yearly BLOCK PARTY\, a collaboration between GROND x Bajesdorp x Bajestuin\nSCROLL VOOR NEDERLANDS \n27 juni / 13:00–late / GROND\, Bajestuin & around. \nThis 27th of June Bajesdorp\, GROND and the Bajestuin join forces for a full day program for young and old\, familiar faces and new friends\, for the yearly BLOCK PARTY! \n13:00 – 16:30 > Workshops \nWe start the day in the Bajestuin (garden) and the new makers’ space of GROND\, for an ongoing workshop afternoon. We will make paper\, host a workshop for kids\, learn about compost\, fermentation\, pruning and cuttings\, and experience what the garden and makers space becomes when many different hands\, materials\, ages\, skills\, and stories meet. (Keep an eye on the website for more workshops that might be added). \n15:00 – 23:00 [tbc] \nDuring the afternoon you can also join the ping-pong competition\, following the start of the traditional Block Party\, a yearly festival in which Bajesdorp invites musicians\, dj’s\, chefs. Since the opening of the new building\, we are slowly bringing back this yearly tradition. \nOur headliner is the Fanfare van de Eerste Liefdesnacht\, a joyful brass band that turns every performance into a high-energy street celebration. The program includes performances on our outdoor stage and in the black box of GROND. This year you can learn more about AfroFuturism. Sinds de opening van het nieuwe gebouw brengen we deze jaarlijkse traditie stap voor stap terug. \nOnze headliner is de Fanfare van de Eerste Liefdesnacht: een vrolijke brassband die elk optreden verandert in een energiek straatfeest. Het programma bestaat uit optredens op ons buitenpodium en in de black box van GROND. Dit jaar kun je meer leren over AfroFuturisme.
