SUMMARY:TEMPERATURA
DESCRIPTION:20:30 (doors: 20:00)\nTickets online: regular €10 / discount €7 – at the door: €12\,5* \nWednesday 06 May\, TEMPERATURA welcomes the Portland\, Oregon based duo MSHR\, and the Amsterdam based duo 7090.\n \nMSHR is an art collective that collaboratively builds and explores sculptural electronic systems. Their performances and installations integrate electrical signals and human presence\, weaving dense networks of causality to form audiovisual environments that babble with a life-like current. They explore intuitive and technical gradients between sonic and sculptural forms\, using analog circuitry and open-source software to sculpt mutually resonant hyperobjects.\nMSHR was founded by Brenna Murphy and Birch Cooper in 2011 in Portland\, Oregon\, as an offshoot from the collective Oregon Painting Society. The name MSHR is a modular acronym designed to hold varied ideas over time. It can be pronounced as an acronym or like one who meshes. \n7090 is a duo consisting of Koen Kaptijn and Nora Mulder. At TEMPERATURA they bring improvised live electronics where vinyl\, tape and micro-noise devices meet the analog ecosystem of Ciat Lonbarde. An unpredictable set of loops\, glitches and shifting climates. No songs\, no presets –just live circuitry. \n\n* If you wish to attend but can’t afford our entry fee\, please send us an email to temperatura.amsterdam (at) gmail (dot) com and we ‘ll make sure you can join us.\n_____________\nTEMPERATURA is a contemporary music concert series\, improvisation hub\, and everything in between\, initiated by composers/performers J. Veličković and F. Konstantinidou. The series focuses on contemporary music from the Netherlands and beyond\, aiming to bring together its diverse expressions. By promoting the wide spectrum of contemporary musical stimuli\, TEMPERATURA seeks to bridge the gap between musicians\, composers\, and performers from different musical backgrounds. Ultimately\, the series strives to bring fresh musical adventures to local audiences and spread today’s artistic practices.

SUMMARY:TEMPERATURA
DESCRIPTION:20:30 (doors: 20:00)\nTickets online: regular €10 / discount €7 – at the door: €12\,5*\n\nSaturday 21 February\, TEMPERATURA welcomes 2026 with free improvisation sets and fresh collaborations. On stage\, the new\, intimate\, improvisational duo Bibiri (Maya Felixbrot\, Aurélie Nyirabikali Lierman). The evening will close with a set by Bibiri together with the TEMPERATURA team (0C). A spontaneous quartet featuring four composers-performers\, filling the night with violas\, shruti boxes\, voices\, magnets\, digital and analog electronics\, and more. \n\n\nBibiri: Maya Felixbrot\, Aurélie Nyirabikali Lierman\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBibiri\n\nThe duo consists of Maya Felixbrot and Aurélie Nyirabikali Lierman. Two composer-performers and long-time collaborators whose work continually evolves through unexpected contexts and setups. In early 2026\, they embarked on a new intimate improvisational duo\, featuring two violas\, two shruti boxes\, two voices\, and whatever sonifiers catch their ears and eyes. This performance at Extratonal in Charlois marks the world premiere of Bibiri.\nBibiri means ‘two’ in Kinyarwanda language\, and a multitude of other things in a number of other languages around the world. \n\nMaya Felixbrot is a musician and movement artist working at the intersection of sound\, movement\, and performance. Her practice explores the poetics of chaos through playfulness\, interdisciplinarity\, and Winnicott’s concept of the Transitional Space. She performs internationally as a soloist and with ensembles\, focusing on music theater and experimental music. She is a co-founder of Moving Strings and its educational platform Play As We Are\, and of Zvov and Screen Dive. \n\nAurélie Nyirabikali Lierman studied music composition\, radio documentary\, Western classical singing and jazz singing. Her work\, a synthesis of radio art and music theatre from an Afro-European perspective\, is described as groundbreaking\, daring and delicate. She brings unique stories to life in an accessible and innovative way: often based on acoustic sounds and soundscapes that she makes move like a kind of 3D cinema for the ears. \n0C & guests: approximately once a month\, the TEMPERATURA team (composers/performers Jasna Veličković and Fani Konstantinidou) invites guests to join them for a free improvisation set in spontaneous combinations.
